FAQ's Wood or Aluminum Framing?

FAQ's Wood or Aluminum Framing?Wood Framing is a mistake and could be the costliest. Regardless if wood framing is "Treated" it is still COMBUSTABLE. Regardless if you use Fire Retardant Products to cover the wood it can still catch fire. Some many contractors and DIY's get confussed about the framing. The Grill Does not shoot flames out into the cabinet but it does send radient heat. Enough radiant heat will cause charring and that can lead to a fire. If you use a Wooden frame you must use an insulated Liner. They average $800.00 or higher. With that added cost you are better off with a Metal or Mason only frame. Our Frames are cheaper than the Insulated Liners and your Home Owners Deductable!
